The Englishwoman who popularized “extreme meats” in Europe (through her recipes on how to prepare zebra, swan, polar bear, and crocodile) does battle with her daughter, a Luxembourg University student and radical animal-rights activist whose mission in life is to destroy her mother’s culinary influence in favor of a “plant-based diet and vegan world order.”

John Huddles wrote and directed “The Philosophers” (2014), released in the U.S. as “After The Dark.” John is a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, as well as Johns Hopkins University’s Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C. and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island --- where he was editor-in-chief of the school’s student magazine and was named one of Brown’s first ever Undergraduate Writing Fellows.
