Drawing from childhood memories and family archives, the son of a former boxer explores the connections between his Congolese heritage and the grand history of boxing in the Grand Duchy. Like an anthropologist, he meets both new and old figures from this sport that has shaken traditional Luxembourgish culture. He falls in love with a world he rediscovers while attending sporting galas.
Boxing Stories tells the story of Congolese and Luxembourgish boxers who together marked the golden age of this sport during the 1970s and 1980s. The film features several key characters whose paths cross throughout this epic told in 12 rounds. They are all bound by the same passion: BOXING.
