The Block Universe

Inspired by and named after a physics theory, according to which all events in the universe are happening at once and the passage of time is an illusion, The Block Universe tells five stories that happen to the same ambulance team, driving down the streets of Sofia, between 1989 and 2030. Past, present and future intertwine to show us the full picture and the destiny of this team of doctor and driver, combining five time periods – key moments in the history of Bulgarian society and its difficult and ever elusive “growth”.
